Founded in 1958: A group of school employees founded what was originally called, "School Employees of Isabella County Credit Union (SEICCU)" on February 10, 1958, at the Mount Pleasant High School. That first year, the credit union had 82 members and $4,900 in assets. Since that time, the credit union, now known as Isabella Community Credit Union, has expanded its charter to include all of Isabella County and the surrounding area.
