YEFCU was organized and founded in April of 1969. It is owned, supervised and managed through YEFCU members under a Federal Charter granted by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the U.S. Government. York Educational Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit cooperative that strives to improve the quality of life for each of its members by providing financial services, education and information which creates long term financial value for the member.
